Balendu visits US to participate in 
Vishwa Hindi Sammelan 2007

Balendu Sharma Dadhich was privileged to attend Vishwa Hindi Sammelan (World Hindi Conference) organised by the Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India. The conference was conducted at New York during July 13-15, 2007. United Nations Secretary General Mr. Ban Kyi Moon addressed the inauguration ceremony held at the United Nations headquarters. 

Balendu Sharma Dadhich was assigned with a few responsibilities during and before the exhibition by the Ministry of External Affairs and the Indian Council for Cultural Affairs (ICCR). 

- Balendu led a team of professionals that developed and looked after the World Hindi Conference's official website www.vishwahindi.com. It was launched by Sh. Anand Sharma, Minister of State for External Affairs, on April 19, 2007.

- Balendu Sharma Dadhich was assigned the responsibility as the Convener of IT exhibition conducted at the Conference's venue, the Fashion Institute of Technology, Manhattan, New York. Organisations such as CDAC, TDIL, NIC (Ministry of Information Technology) and Rajbhasha Dept (Home Ministry) participated in the exhibition. It was inaugurated by Sh. Anand Sharma, Minister of State for External Affairs, on July 13, 2007.

- Balendu Sharma Dadhich moderated an academic session on 'IT and Hindi' during the conference. The three hour session was attended by scholars, scientists, IT experts and IT enthusiasts.
